Chemical Cleaning

The chemical cleaning process is used to remove various fouling material from tanks, process vessels, pipelines, and tubing. This cleaning process, which is generally conducted within a closed loop system, is applicable to new construction (pre-operative cleaning) and routine maintenance. Corrosion coupons are used to verify the effectiveness of the chemical cleaning process.

  • Pre-Operative Cleaning
  • New Construction / Fabrication of Piping and/or Processing Systems
  • Maintenance
  • Contact Towers
  • Process Vessels
  • Exchangers
  • Pipeline Cleaning

Contamination Removal

Contaminants must be removed from lube and hydraulic oil systems to avoid damage to bearings, seals, vessels, and pumps. To avoid commissioning and operational failures; the below contaminants must be removed:

  • Sand
  • Rust
  • Mill Scale
  • Welding Slag
  • Corrosion Products
  • Construction Debris
  • Waterblasting

Waterblasting

  • 10,000psi to 40,000psi
  • Flex and Rigid Lancing
  • Specialty Tips
  • Hydromower

Examples of waterblasting applications are listed below:

  • Pipe Drains-Clogged
  • Exchangers
  • Solids Tightly Adhered to Surfaces
  • Concrete Surfaces
  • Product Recovery / Waste Minimization

Product Recovery & Minimization

GLY-TECH will assist with product recovery and waste minimization through the application of one or more of the following separation technologies, which assist in separating material into oil / water / solid streams.

  • Shakers
  • De-silters / De-sanders
  • Oil / Water Separators
  • Hydro Cyclones
  • Pipeline Repair / External Corrosion
